We are home from Madison - a little earlier than regular and that is good. Just had treatment today, nothing extra - no blood work (did that yesterday here in Rockford), no seeing any doctor, no other tests - just chemo. My doctor has given me some "happy pills" for my legs - the lowest dose and I only took 1/2 of 1/2 (I guess that makes it a quarter, doesn't it...see how "happy" I am!!) and my legs feel better. Finally some relief. Don is thrilled!

ReplyDeleteYour so funny and make me chuckle. I enjoy your time out. I would not be able to drink grass, no can do. There is a famous actress who has cancer and has written a few book that believes in trying everything. She has explored many avenues hoping to find a cure. Sadly she has not found one yet, but has been in remission once.

I'm so happy your legs are feeling better. I'll be praying about your CT's. I am thinking about not having any more. I mean for me, once its this far, its still there. It's awful and I get sick. Can not walk for hours after a simple bone scan, so ya, I'm having no fun! You may have to have them, it's part of the study. Ct's are different than a bone scan. With the bone scan you have to have the radiation dye injected in your vein, with the ct's you have to drink 3 bottles of garbage.
We are joining you in praise and together exalting HIS name. God DOES work in mysterious...yet awesome wonderful...ways, doesn't He? Praying for your body to get DIVINE healing ALL over from the top of your head to the tiniest of toes...the tingling kind of healing...where and when you KNOW, beyond a shadow of a doubt...that it is GOD doing the healing!!!!!
