Hello Prayer Warriors,
Sorry that it has been a week since I was able to post. During this past week, on Saturday night Mom and Dad had to head to Swedish American (in Rockford for those that didn't know) to get the blood thinner shot. She has had a blood clot in her left leg since 1 week prior to her week long vacation in the Madison Hospital (January). The prescribed shots that Dad was unable to obtain (none available within a 50 mile or more radius) when they arrived in Rockford that Thursday. So, it was ordered. Mom was able to get a shot in Madison that Friday when we saw Dr. Rose and things have been smooth running until this past Saturday. The prescription was to be refilled and again none within miles. On Sunday, Dad and grandpa Lowman ran to Madison to obtain the prescription. I mention this to you as a prayer concern that the medication is not an obstacle. It is just exhausting to my Dad to have a routine run to the pharmacy turn into a run to Madison. And he continues to keep his pleasant, calm attitude when they tell him there are no meds for his wife.
Mom is feeling better. Possibly gaining some strength. We will spend some time with them this week, so I will keep you all updated.
