Hello Loved ones,
Well, since my last post in which I conveyed the message that we would be able to spend some time with Mom and Dad over the weekend (we were really looking forward to this) the Erickson household was struck with strep and colds!!! Yuck!! Mia and I were sick while Kurt and Livi tried to stay their distance (which is very difficult in our tiny place)!! We are on the mend and hopefully we will be able to spend some time with Mom and Dad this coming weekend!!
So, not much to report..not even funny stories..sorry!! We can report that your love to us is spilling over in heaps!!! Thank you so much dear ones for keeping updated, bringing food, visiting, cards, e-mails, hugs, smiles, phone calls, and most importantly prayers!! On my way to work, I was listening to a David Crowder Band CD and tears just poured out of my eyes because we are so blessed to be a part of such a loving crowd of family and friends and that is because our common foundation is in the Lord Jesus Christ!!!
Through the toughest times hear on earth, may we all stay focused on God's "purpose" for our lives... to be children of the Risen Lord!! Let HIS light shine through you today, Praise HIM, and give HIM all the glory!!
May you all have a wonderful week!!
Love, Jenn and Kurt

    Jenn,

Sorry to hear of your family's illness! So much going around right now! Let's hope for sunshine and warmth soon so that everyone can open up their windows and get some fresh air.

I pray for all of your family daily. The verse that I held on to when Mom was sick was Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Mom's been gone for nearly five years and I still see the good that God brought about through her PSP. God's word gives great hope and comfort.

Love to your mom and dad, you and Kurt and the girls,

    Ferol

Thank you for sharing with us. I'm sorry to hear about your family being sick! I will pray for you all. If you ever need me to "hang out" with your Mom on a Monday or Wednesday, please let me know. My phone # is 815-222-5344. I may need to bring Logan along to get his schoolwork done, but he can be pretty entertaining and helpful, as well. Please let your Mom know we love her and are praying for her!
    God bless,
    Kasondra

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me, and pray to me and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart!" Jeremiah29:11-13

Jen... You are a true mirror of your parents! How very proud they must be of you....reading your posts on here sound just like the things that your Mother would say! GOD BLESS YOU, for your kind and caring heart, the love you have for our Lord, your parents and family and your church family. Sending hugs and prayers to you all and THANKING GOD for each of you and your amazing FAITH IN HIM!

    In His Love,
    Linda M

  6. 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV 2011

V9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

I couldn't think of anything to say. God gave me this wonderful gift called the Holy Spirit that allowed me to pull this scripture. Isn't he cool?
